Terms of Service
Last updated: 12 October 2026
1. Who we are
Wast3Not is operated by DRS Software Solutions Ltd ("we", "us"), a company registered in England and Wales, company number 17189542, registered office 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ. You can contact us at support@wast3not.com. These Terms are a contract between you and DRS Software Solutions Ltd governing your use of the Wast3Not applications and website (the "Service").
2. What the Service is
Wast3Not is an organisational tool for tracking household items — such as food, medicines, subscriptions, warranties, insurance and services — and their expiry or renewal dates, with reminders, inventory features and optional AI-assisted suggestions. The Service helps you organise information you choose to record. It does not verify that information.
3. Eligibility and your account
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. You agree to provide accurate account information, keep your login credentials secure, and accept responsibility for activity under your account. Notify us promptly at support@wast3not.com if you suspect unauthorised use.
4. Important — the Service is not advice
Wast3Not is an organisational tool only. Expiry and renewal dates in the Service are entered by you or derived from product data sources, and may be incomplete or inaccurate. The Service does not provide medical, pharmaceutical, food-safety, legal or financial advice. Always follow the dates and instructions printed on product packaging — in particular, a "use by" date on food and any instructions from your pharmacist or doctor for medicines always take precedence over anything shown in the Service. AI-generated suggestions are organisational aids only and must not be relied on for decisions about consuming food or taking medicine.
5. Your content
You retain ownership of the content you add to the Service, including item details and photos. You grant us a limited licence to host, store, process and display that content solely to operate, secure and improve the Service for you. You are responsible for having the right to upload any content you add.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to: use the Service for unlawful purposes; attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service or its data; interfere with or disrupt the Service; reverse engineer or copy the Service except as permitted by law; scrape or bulk-extract data; misuse AI features, including attempts to generate content unrelated to the Service's purpose; or resell access to the Service without our written agreement.
7. Plans, billing and Paddle
Paid subscriptions and one-time purchases are sold by our merchant of record, Paddle.com Market Ltd or Paddle.com Inc. ("Paddle"). When you buy, you buy from Paddle, and Paddle's Buyer Terms and Privacy Policy apply to the transaction alongside these Terms. Prices are shown before purchase, inclusive of applicable taxes where required. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled. You can cancel at any time via Settings or the Paddle customer portal. If you cancel within 14 days of the payment that starts your subscription, you get a full refund. After 14 days, cancelling stops the next renewal and your plan runs to the end of the period you have already paid for; we do not give partial refunds. We may change prices for future billing periods with reasonable advance notice.
8. Refunds
Our Refund Policy (available at /refunds) explains how refunds work: a full refund if you cancel within 14 days of the payment that starts your subscription. Refunds are processed by Paddle as merchant of record. Nothing in these Terms or the Refund Policy affects your statutory rights.
9. Availability and changes to the Service
We aim to keep the Service available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may modify, add or remove features. If we make a change that materially reduces the core Service you pay for, we will give you reasonable notice, and you may cancel before the change takes effect.
10. Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any liability that cannot be excluded by law. Subject to that, we are not liable for: losses caused by information you entered or relied on contrary to Section 4; loss of profit, business or opportunity; or indirect or consequential loss. Our total liability to you in any 12-month period is limited to the amounts you paid for the Service in that period, or £50 if you have paid nothing. If digital content we supply damages your device or other digital content, and we failed to use reasonable care and skill, we will repair the damage or compensate you as required by the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
11. Ending the agreement
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate your account if you materially breach these Terms, giving you notice and an opportunity to remedy the breach where practicable. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including 4, 5, 10 and 13) survive.
12. Complaints
If you are unhappy with the Service, contact support@wast3not.com. We acknowledge complaints within 30 days and aim to resolve them promptly. Complaints about data protection are handled under our Privacy Policy.
13. General
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction (if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings there). If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. We may update these Terms; material changes will be notified in the Service or by email with reasonable notice, and continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
